June 6, 2020: Being civil should come easily

Thank you all SOOO much for your encouraging thoughts, prayers, words of wisdom, and inspiration.

I'm not going to lie, it's been rather depressing these past couple of months. Not being able to work or have classes to keep me busy has gotten me down. I already suffer from bipolar disorder as it is and this has really stretched me to my limits at times. However, I stay strong and have faith that things will be better on the other side of this. I think of how the forests need the fires to help them regrow or how new solar systems form after the collapse of a star. It's all part of the ebb and flow of life. On the other side, we shall rise as the phoenix! We will be stronger and more resilient. Our resolve shall be sharper. We'll have tighter bonds with those who have supported us and who have gone through this with us. This is not an ending... It's a new beginning!

RIP - George Floyd. May your death not be in vain, but bring about true and lasting change to this world! You shall be the Lilly in the Valley!

Thank you everyone who has stood strong and faced the challenge of doing what's Right and Just. Being civil should come easily. Why does it seem so difficult of a task? We need leadership who will boldly lead the way and set a new status quo! Will it be our next president? Or do we have to wait 4 more years? The time feels like it needs to be right now! Do we have a one with enough integrity and fortitude to stand the challenge? Only time will tell. All I know is that we as individuals must continue to stand for human rights and common decency; no matter who our leaders are or how they act (or what they Tweet).

Stay Strong! Stay safe. May you all be blessed.

Thank you again and know that you really are making an impact. You may have even saved a few lives with your encouraging words.

Much Love!

Gonzo
