June 6, 2020: A note from Love

Elise, Julie, Tara, Linda, Otterbein University,

This is "LOVE," from Piper Kerman's writing class. I just want to thank you all for your support. I thank God for people like you all that's why the world is about to change for the best. We all are one nation under God's strength and love.

I want you all to know that your love and support has made me stronger each time I look on this machine and read your letters. I was in pain and hurting bad in here. I felt like my world was about to end one day out of no where from this terrible sickness. Then I got Shannon's first letter with my Otterbein University family and it's like my health just turned back to 100%. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

For those that don't know let our Otterbein family know that (Black) got released on judicial last month. We all have a book coming out next year with all our writings in it. Piper said the title is going to be Shades Of Blue. Yes, yes, yes, I will be out for that myself, I have 5 months until I am released from this crazy place.

I just want you all to know that I'm going to be the best that I can be and just like I told Shannon, I am thinking seriously about playing football at Otterbein. Let the coach know that I am 6 feet tall, 290 pounds super strong, fast and ready for what ever position he will give me. BIG SMILES, LOL
