Thoughts from the Outside
Education is a gift from God that takes hard work and endurance but it has a reward that no one can take away. – Bonnie
You are in our hearts and prayers. – Janice
Thinking of you all every single day and looking forward to seeing many of you again. – Sionna/Shannon
Challenges for Today
Draw a self-portrait or eat a meal or get dressed or move through your entire day without using your dominant hand.
Something to write or think about: are three traits or characteristics most accurately describe you? Have you had those traits or characteristics for as long as you can remember, or when/how do you think they developed?
Quotations to Think About Today

I feel there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people. – Vincent Van Gogh
There are silences harder to take back than words. – James Richardson
Do not always finish the same book. – Rachel Blau DuPlessis
The Journey – Mary Oliver (again!)
One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice –
through the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You know what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundation,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do –
determined to save
the only life you could save.
