May 31, 2020: What new level of criminal behavior is coming into our world from society?

Lifeline Friends, Hello and Shalom! Thank you for letting us know that our lives still have meaning and purpose. You encourage us to want to be better and do better. With all the things that are now going on in the "Free-World", we are praying for you all. Some of the most encouraging words recorded for us, by the wisest man that ever lived are found in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin, and I 'Will Heal Their Land." The healing we long for in this nation begins with humility, admitting when we are wrong rather than creating ways to justify our 'have my way' attitudes. Let us consider what kind of a broken society we might be leaving to our children and grandchildren.

Some thoughts from the prison-world. When an inmate has served his "Judge-appointed" time for whatever crime he committed and is up for parole, it is my understanding that folks in society get all upset and nervous at the thought of some convict being released into their safe??? neighborhood or community. We in prison would like you in the free-world??? to know that when we hear over our loudspeakers 'New loads', meaning we are getting a new load of convicted felons, fresh off the street, coming into our institution, a lot of us get a nervous. What new level of criminal behavior is coming in to our world from society?

We see on the news the kind of criminal violence going on out there, and people being murdered on the streets in broad daylight. We are living in frightening times. Our only real hope for healing, I believe, is putting our trust in Yahshua (Jesus). Shalom
