Hello and thank you, thank you also Kathryn, Anthony, Elise, Cheryl, Joanna (AKA "Near"), Cynthia, Judy. Thank you for letting us share our thoughts from the 'prison-world'. I know this is quite long, but please bear with me. I recently watched the movie 'Where'd You Go Bernadette'? This a great story about the importance of letting our (creative) light shine, and what can happen when it is somehow suppressed. Could it be that that is what has somehow happened to many who are in prison, and then they allowed resentment to cloud their judgement? What are we really battling with? Where do our struggles lie?

'War Among The Stars' On a clear dark starlit night, when you look out into space, you can see the tiny sparkles of countless stars. Like beautiful diamonds on display in the haunting darkness of outer space. I imagine when the Creator (YaHWeh), looks at the world from His lofty dwelling in the heaven. He too sees the tiny sparkles of countless stars, like beautiful diamonds on display in the haunting darkness of what our world has become.

We are all famous personalities, playing the leading role in the story of our own individual lives; 'the star of our own show'. We are like diamonds, though many of us are still being cut, shaped, and polished. But we all have a personal beauty to share. Also, like fine jewelry, we have been clustered into a great number of different cultures, races, and classes, like the constellations. To share a unique beauty in the back drop of the darkness around us. Or to be a guide to some weary mariners in search of identity on their voyage into the ports of recovery.

Unfortunately however, throughout the ages, many have never considered that the most priceless diamond in all the world can only share its beauty by the light it reflects. Thus, we have no beauty to share when we are consumed by the darkness. Then, driven by the desire for ''Star-dom', wars are waged among the 'stars'.

When we study the history of specific cultures, races, or classes of people, we can see the suffering and evils against them exclusively, a result of the 'star wars'. When we study the history of the human race, we can see the suffering and evils against all mankind, this is a result of a war that has been waged against the 'stars'.

Our conscience tells us there is a 'Source of Light' that we were meant to reflect, and there is a source of darkness that wars against that light.

In one episode of the famous 'Star Wars' movies (George Lucas), the character Yoda gives a warning to the young Jedi, Anakin Skywalker about the anger, resentment, and unforgiveness in Skywalker's heart, "Hard to see the dark side is". Yoda's words of warning to Skywalker should be etched in our own minds as a reminder that when we allow things to cling to us from the 'dark side', we risk being consumed by the darkness. When the darkness begins to consume us, we begin to question the "Force" (the Source of Light), then we are deceived into thinking we can somehow shine on our own, while sinking deeper into the darkness of resentment and selfish entitlement. Consider this battle that took place between the powers of 'Light' and darkness. On June 17th, 1963, the Supreme Court ruled that reciting the 'Lord's prayer', and Bible reading was unconstitutional in the public class rooms in the United States of America. The one place where the Light was needed most was removed from of all places, the nation's educational system, and the minds of future generations in America became even more vulnerable to the 'Dark-side'. Someone once said, "It takes more faith to believe in evolution, than it does to believe that' everything was created by an Intelligent designer". What if the Bible is true about the creation of man, the fall of man (instigated by the dark-side), and the promise of redemption?

'This little light of mine, I 'must' let it shine'. Peace!
